All in the Family, Out & About Nashville’s monthly events and entertainment column, spotlights performances, productions and presentations by (inter)nationally recognized artists in our LGBTQ family.  In addition to all the Pride festivities, there are a number of opportunities to experience and enjoy this month.  Here are the highlights:

 

6/3The Kills release Ash & Ice

Alison Mosshart’s indie rock band The Kills will drop its latest record on the 3rd.

 

6/3Tegan and Sara release Love You to Death

Twin sister indie/pop duo Tegan and Sara will drop their eighth studio album with love.

 

6/9Ty Herndon plays City Winery

Country singer/songwriter Ty Herndon will play the winery on the 9th, as will Kree Harrison, Radio Romance and other special guests.

 

6/9 - 6/11Mary Gauthier hosts Finding Your Writer’s Voice

Acclaimed Americana singer/songwriter Mary Gauthier will facilitate her latest Performing Songwriter Creative Workshop.

 

6/15 – See Jane Sing stops at TPAC

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Jane Lynch will bring her comic skills and musical prowess to TPAC’s James K. Polk Theater for a night of sing-alongs and shenanigans.

 

6/29 - 6/30Ani DiFranco plays City Winery

Righteous Babe singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco will play two nights at the winery, along with opener Chastity Brown.
