New nightclub in central Mexico has local connection

Nashville residents, past and present, offer Puerto Vallarta's 'gay party zone'

A new gay nightclub in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, has a Middle Tennessee connection.

Crema, billed as a "gay party zone," is located among a variety of gay-friendly establishments in the city's Centro neighborhood. The nightclub is owned by current Nashville resident and entrepreneur Blake Brummett, along with life partners and former Nashville locals Cole Wakefield (pictured left) and Jason Hunt (right).

A grand opening celebration featuring was held Dec. 23, and the owners are offering a wide range of entertainment for both local and out-of-town patrons.

Crema, the hottest new addition to nightlife in Puerto Vallarta, features amazing drink specials, a happening dance floor, your favorite music videos, random surprises every night and an exclusive VIP area with bottle service. The rooftop terrace and multiple balconies offer stunning views of the Centro district.

Crema has hosted television and film actor Wilson Cruz (My So-Called Life) and Broadway veteran Michael McElroy (Rent, Big River) during its opening week. For more information on upcoming events, visit the Crema website.
